How do I sign up for HouseQ?

It’s super easy. Simply click on one the sign up now button in the top menu and follow the prompts!

What happens if I forget my password?

Do not stress whatsoever if you forget your password, simply press “Forgot Password?” under the login area and you will be taken through the steps to re-gain it.

When do I pay?

You do not need to pay straight away for HouseQ. When you first sign up you start on a free plan which is good for one house. If you would like to start using the full features for your real estate agency or just more of your properties then all you have to do is upgrade you plan, which you can do from the drop down in the top right hand (click on your profile picture).

Why is this software so cool?

Our software is awesome because not only can you set and forget your property promotion on social media, but we are also one of the only social media marketing tools in the market that allows you to schedule direct to Instagram (it’s a big deal). Finally, we also will be really easy to sync with My Desktop, so if you are using this then you will be able to really easily manage what properties are being promoted by us based on what is in your My Desktop.

How much time will I save using this tool?

Well this really depends on how much time you spend on social media and promoting your listings. We estimate that you’ll save approximately 5 hours per month, which is a fantastic amount of time to save on administrative tasks so you can go out and sell/prospect!

How much money can I save using this tool?

The fact that you won’t have to worry about paying for other expensive tools, that your houses will be out in the market being promoted more meaning less money spent on other advertising is fantastic. However, those 5 hours we mentioned above which you’ll save, how much money is that worth? Is it 5 hours of your staff who you pay $30 per hour? Is it your own time which you value at $150-$300 an hour? The fact is, a tool that can save you time like HouseQ is going to save you money too.

What channels do you integrate with?

HouseQ can publish and schedule posts to your Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter and Instagram accounts. Our parent company Knackmap has developed some cutting edge technology to allow you to publish and schedule to Instagram direct from your computer – something that you can’t do almost anywhere else!

 

HOW IT WORKS

Gee it seems to post a lot on Twitter on the Turbocharge activity level. Is that ok?

Twitter is full of busy information. Millions of tweets are posted all the time meaning that before your post is even posted, it’s probably half way down your followers feeds. We have seen a direct correlation between increased tweets and traffic to your site, so the more you are posting about your properties on Twitter, the more likely it will be seen by your followers and the more people with investigate the properties you are promoting! Of course, we don’t think that posting this much on other channels is necessarily a good idea, and this is why each channel we have posting abilities to has it’s own tailored settings depending on how often you want to post.

How does HouseQ know when to post?

We have developed and moulded our software’s posting algorithm to post at the times in which your users are actually online, and when the most engagement and clicks on social media channels normally occur. At the same time, we’ve needed to balance this with the amount of posts your are publishing (no point having 35 posts go out at one time!).

Ok, I’m interested. What do I need to do?

It’s pretty simple. All you need to do is sign up, choose your plan then add your accounts! From here the process is as follows:

  • Add your properties to the “Homes” area of our software
  • Head to the activity levels tab and choose how often you want to post
  • Let it rip! Once you’ve pressed “Create Queue” our software will create a timeline of social media posts across all channels.

Can I publish a once off post through HouseQ?

We get it, queues are great – but you don’t always just want things to go through here. Sometimes there is just a one off post that you are looking to publish now or schedule into the future.

To publish a post, click the ‘Schedule’ link on the left hand side of your dashboard. Select your media in the first section- whether that is GIF, image or video. Then, enter any text and a URL if applicable before selecting the accounts you’d like to post to. On the top right hand side you can enter the specific day and time you’d like your post to be released, or just leave it unchanged to have it post straight away. At the bottom right hand corner, select post.

 

ACCOUNTS

How do I add accounts?

Head to the ‘Accounts’ link on the left hand side of the login area, and press “Add new account”. You’ll be given the option to add an account from Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and Instagram. Please note, you will need to add your profile for Facebook and Linkedin first before you can add a page.

How do I add a Facebook Profile?

To add a Facebook profile, select ‘Add Account’ from the Accounts page. Under the Facebook logo, choose ‘Connect a Profile’. If your browser saves your Facebook username and password, Knackmap might do all the work for you and a message stating your account has been connected will pop-up. If not, you will be prompted to enter your Facebook username and password and authorise Knackmap before the connection confirmation will appear.

How do I add a Facebook Page?

To add a Facebook page, you’ll first have to add your Facebook profile.  The message confirming your connection may feature a button that says ‘Connect Page’ – you’ll need to click this and follow the prompts. If you’re adding a page after you’ve already connected your profile,select ‘Add Account’ from the Accounts page. From the options under the Facebook Logo, select ‘Connect a Page’. You may need to re-enter your Facebook username and password. A list of the pages that you run will appear, and then you just need to check the box on the right of the page you’d like to connect, and then select ‘Connect’.

How do I add a Linkedin Profile?

To add a LinkedIn profile, select ‘Add Account’ from the Accounts page. Under the LinkedIn logo, choose ‘Connect a Profile’. How do I add an Instagram account?

To add an Instagram account for scheduling, select ‘Add Account’ from the Accounts page. Under the Instagram logo, select ‘Add Account’. You will then be redirected to a page detailing your list of connected accounts. Find the account you’d like to authorise for scheduling, select ‘add password’ and enter the correct Instagram password. Then, click ‘Update Instagram Account’ and you’re done!

How do I cancel my plan?

To cancel your plan, select your profile in the top-right corner of any page and choose ‘Account Settings’ from the drop-down menu. On the right hand side will be a list of your connected accounts, and just below that the options to change your plan and cancel your plan. Select ‘Cancel Current Plan’ and follow the prompts to cancel.

How do I remove accounts?

To remove an account, select your profile in the top-right corner of any page and choose ‘Account Settings’ from the drop-down menu. On the right hand side will be a list of your connected accounts. Check the box on the right of the account or page you’d like to remove, and select ‘Remove’ from the buttons at the bottom of the list. Click yes to confirm.
